Reptiles for Wholesale By Strictly

Reptiles, whether lizards, snakes, or turtles, can make for some very entertaining and curious pets, so finding somewhere that does reptiles for wholesale can be a goal for some people. Strictly Reptiles, Inc is your connection to this wonderful world of reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and even some mammals! It’s common for people to know the basics of caring for dogs and cats, such as feeding them, walking them, bathing them, and taking them to the vet regularly, so it’s not uncommon for people to be a little nervous about caring for creatures that might take a little more attention to their temperature control, diet, and housing. Fortunately, there are many resources online on how to care for cold-blooded creatures. It might seem daunting at first, but once you read up on how to properly care for a new animal, you can open up to reptiles for wholesale options.

Some animals, such as venomous snakes, scorpions, or large carnivorous reptiles like komodo dragons might be best left to professionals such as zoo keepers and specialists in this area. Otherwise, Strictly Reptiles Inc has many different kinds of reptiles that might be considered beginner friendly, such as some smaller snakes, lizards, and turtles. Regardless of the species, though, you should always do the right research.

Just be aware of some of the risks of owning certain animals. For example, many snakes will try to escape their enclosures, iguanas have sharp claws and can really do some harm with their tail, and turtles are known to snap at their owners if they are nervous or not handled properly. Turtles can also carry salmonella, which can make people ill if ingested.

When it comes to housing some of these animals, their size and how large they’re known to become should be taken into consideration. For example, an iguana would need an enclosure at least 8 feet long along with branches to perch on. Your average snake may need a clear 20-gallon terrarium, and a turtle is recommended to be housed in a 40-gallon fish or turtle tank. Some of which need water to submerge themselves in as well as plenty of stones or places to get warm.

At Strictly Reptiles, we want everyone to love and appreciate these animals as much as we do, so if you’re looking for reptiles for wholesale needs, we carry all sorts of iguanids, tortoises, snakes, arachnids, iguanas, and geckos. If you have any questions regarding the availability and variety of the animals we carry for reptiles for wholesale options, give us a call at 954-967-8310.
